Ein 30 jähriger Whisky der Balvenie Destillerie in Dufftown wurde beim Speyside Whisky Festival 2006 als bester Speyside Single Malt über 21 bewertet. 30 Year Old Balvenie Claims Top Speyside Award
A whisky from The Balvenie distillery in Dufftown has been voted Speyside’s best single malt aged over 21 years in the recent 2006 Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Awards, reports SLTN.
The Balvenie Thirty, which has a retail price of £250, won the public vote after 200-plus guests at the festival’s opening gala blind-tasted eight shortlisted whiskies.
Malt master David Stewart has described the whisky as „silky smooth and honeyed on the nose with mellow oaky tones and hints of candied orange peel“.
