Die weltweiten Verkaufszahlen von Chivas Regal sind im vergangenen Jahr bis zum 30. Juni auf ein neues Rekord-Hoch gestiegen, wie Pernod Ricard, der französische Besitzer des Speyside Whiskies bekannt gab. Chivas, der in der Strathisla Destillerie in Keith hergestellt wird, setzte rund 4 Millionen Kisten ab.
SALES OF TOP WHISKY SET A WORLD RECORD
Global sales of Chivas Regal soared to a new record during the year to June 30, the French owner of the Speyside whisky brand said yesterday.
Chivas, produced in the Strathisla Distillery at Keith, hit a new high with worldwide sales of almost 4million cases.
The growth in demand helped Paris-based drinks giant Pernod Ricard to record a 68% surge in sales across the group.
Its total net sales reached £4.15billion during the year.
