Seltener Ardbeg für 2.000 Pfund pro Flasche

Ein exklusiver Whisky wird diese Woche für rund 2.000,- Pfund pro Flasche angeboten. Mit einem Alter von knapp unter 40 Jahren ist dieser Single Malt der seltenste, der je von seiner Destillerie auf Islay herausgebracht wurde. Nur 261 Flaschen des Ardbeg 1965 werden zum Verkauf angeboten, wovon 100 an Händler in Großbritannien gehen. Der Whisky kommt in handgefertigten, mit Islay-Sand versetzten Glasflaschen daher, die zum Beweis der Echtheit mit nummerierten Wachssiegeln verschlossen sind. Der Alkoholgehalt des Single Malt liegt bei 41,3 % Vol.

Rare whiskey on sale for £2,000 a bottle

An exclusive whisky priced at around £2,000 per bottle goes on sale this week.

At just under 40 years old, the single malt is the rarest ever released from its distillery on the Scottish island of Islay.

Only 261 bottles of Ardbeg 1965 are going on sale, of which 100 will be released to UK retailers.

It comes in a hand-blown glass bottle which comes with a numbered wax seal to prove its authenticity.

The bottle itself contains a sprinkling of Islay sand in its glass.
